Månedsmøter i Guinnessbevegelsen OGMS går sjelden upåaktet hen, og støtten til årets første møte var påtagelig over hele verden. SAKMIL-nyhetene fikk rapportert inn opptil flere støttemøter fra ulike verdenshjørner.

Først ute var, ikke uventet, Ban Chang i Thailand. Her kunne det meldes om opptil flere støttemøter i løpet av et døgn, men det egentlige støttemøtet startet ikke før lørdag ettermiddag lokal tid. På baren Offshore, som faktisk blir offisielt møtested for OGMS i april i år, samlet det seg etterhvert et stort antall mennesker i anledning den store dagen.

Original venue was opened by it’s previous owner during early 1995.
The current owners bought the original establishment in June 1995, making changes to the interior from whence it became one of the most popular establishments for working expatriates and Thais alike, within Ban Chang, as well from Pattaya.

Over the following years, new bars and restaurants were opened and the need for a newer, more up-market venue was required and on 11th June 2005 saw the opening of the current Offshore Bar and Restaurant. This quickly became one of the most popularly used restaurants within the Ban Chang area, serving quality food and drinks, not only to local expatriates but tourists and Thais alike.
